Q. What prompted you to look for concierge/organising services?
A. I run HR consulting company wattsnext and have 3 young boys, so life can get hectic at times. I had a long ‘to do’ list of bits and pieces which I just never got around to doing. Adele came over, I gave her the list and off she went!
Q. Why did you choose to use TCC?
A. I met Adele Blair many years ago at a Business Chicks event. We lost touch for a couple of years (whilst we were both madly growing our businesses) and we bumped into each other again at the Telstra Business Women Awards interviews. It was so exciting to hear how much The Concierge Collective had developed over these years and the fantastic services they offered. I was extremely happy to hand my very long ‘to do’ list over to Adele and the team.
Q. What kind of solutions were you looking for?
A. Gardening, home office organising, blinds for work, sourcing wallpaper, pool cleaning, hanging photo frame on wall, taking old clothes to charity, sourcing cushion fabric, the list goes on and on!
Q. Did we deliver those solutions?
A. Every time without fail, as well as keeping me updated throughout any process (but not taking up too much of my time).
Q. How has engaging TCC changed your lifestyle?
A. I have a team who I can call on at any time and at the drop of a hat, and can trust that whatever it is will be sorted. A good example was just prior to Christmas, it was a Friday morning and I had forgotten to get the lawns mowed and we were expecting guests on Saturday. I did not have the time to ring around and try to source a gardener who would be available that day. I simply called Sara at TCC and told her what I needed. By the time I returned home the lawns were done – that’s what TCC can do!
Q. What has been the standout moment of our services to you?
A. TCC have helped us in so many ways, but I would have to say the ‘standout’ moment was when I gave the team a picture of a bedroom I saw in a home magazine and asked them to source the wallpaper. There was no reference to the stylist or stockist and I thought it would be impossible to find. Within days TCC had located it in Sydney, organised measurements and placed the order… I was blown away!
Q. Would you recommend TCC to others?
A. I already have! They make life so much easier – what’s not to recommend!
Q. Anything else you would like to add?
wattsnext has also now engaged TCC to provide a personal concierge service to all of our staff. They have called it the Staff Room, where TCC will be on call for all of the wattsnext team to assist each person with their individual needs. This provides our staff with the flexibility and support to achieve their personal tasks whilst they are busy doing amazing work for our clients.
One more thing! TCC is not just for working mums, executives, or business owners. This service is for anyone who doesn’t have time, or would prefer to do something else with their time, other than organise or run errands.
