Adele Blair is the Founder and Managing Director of The Concierge Collective, one of Australia’s leading concierge companies.
Adele created her business in acknowledgement of the growing complaint of people becoming more and more time poor and in doing so, unable to find sufficient time to enjoy other aspects of their lives. The Concierge Collective enables time poor clients to simply regain time to live. The Concierge Collective specialises in managing the space between client’s personal to do list and selecting vendors, task execution and completion.
Filled with a passion for organising and an entrepreneurial spirit for making a positive difference to the lives of others, Adele’s business started out as a small home-based business and over the past 10 years has grown to become a recognised and well-regarded concierge service directly employing a team of 4 and engaging a network of associate vendors ranging from Chandelier Cleaners to New York Yankee Tickets.
The market appeal of The Concierge Collective has grown in popularity due to her desire to make our services relevant and appealing to their target market by establishing herself and her business as both an expert and authority on all things personal concierge.
Her passion for making a difference led her to author her first published book titled “HOME – A practical guide to organising your lifestyle and home” forging national television exposure for The Concierge Collective through my association with Channel Ten and in particular the Studio 10 program which also complemented her role as regular feature columnist with Fairfax media.
Having created this platform of awareness, The Concierge Collective is now working with corporate Australia, with many businesses including the service as part of their Attraction, Retention, Productivity and Diversity targets.
The Concierge Collective is on target to become a pre-eminent brand in a completely new and emerging market category.
Adele’s achievements to date and the success of her business has been achieved through trial and error. She left Cowra High School in Year 11 and whilst subsequently completed (failed) a Secretarial Certificate, her business knowledge has largely been self-taught through each twist and turn of her journey.
These life lessons, coupled with her parents’ own business experience, Adele developed the business acumen which led her to become a Finalist in the Telstra Business Women Awards, Business Owner category in 2011.
In May 2011, Adele co-founded the Institute of Concierge and Lifestyle Managers (iCALM). iCALM is an industry-focused organisation that supports professionals within the Concierge and Lifestyle Management industry through education, networking and employment opportunities. In 2014 iCALM received ASQA accreditation for the Diploma of Personal Concierge Services; the only training of its type in the world.
Adele is a Certified Concierge Specialist (CCS) an Accredited Expert Professional Organiser and an Accredited Member of the National Concierge Association of the USA.
Adele actively pursues opportunities to promote the concierge industry and is considered a lifestyle expert.
